How it works

Three ideas. With them you can follow every decision Burnbound makes before it signs a payment.

  1. step 1 of 3

    Allowed host

An allowed host is a site your agents may pay. If it isn't on the list, Burnbound doesn't sign.

    allowed hosts · agent_research api.openai.com ✓ can pay api.anthropic.com ✓ can pay serper.dev ✓ can pay payments.unknown-vendor.example ✗ not on the list
  2. step 2 of 3

    Spending cap

The cap is the most that can go out in one payment or in one day. Under it, the 402 gets paid. Over it, it doesn't.

    caps · agent_research max per payment 25.00 USDC daily cap 100.00 USDC today 86.00 / 100.00
  3. step 3 of 3

    Block

If the host isn't allowed or the amount goes over the cap, the payment is blocked before anything is signed. You'll see it in Audit, with the reason.

✗ blocked · 16:50 payments.unknown-vendor.example · 120.00 USDC host_not_allowed the host is not on the list amount_exceeds_per_transaction over the per-payment max no transaction was signed.
